i just got my bulb and i am at work right now. so i can put it in. but i want to know am i going to like it i keep all sps thanks

You may like it, you may love it, you may hate it, you may slightly dislike it, you may strongly dislike it but not quite hate it. Hate is a strong word, a strong emotion. I wonder, can one really hate a light bulb? Can one really love a light bulb for that matter? Can corals love a light bulb or hate a light bulb? Do corals posess the emotions that enable them to hate or to love? The behaviorist would say, no.

Install the bulbs and see how you feel about them.

The 14k phoenix is a quality bulb, quite popular as well. actually a great bulb for the money. For a 25 gallon the bulb should do well.

yes you will love it, but only after you hate it, your pc bulb will be back, but you will hate the pc bulb after exactly 2 months 5 days and 3 minutes of using it and go back to the halide. After switching to the halide you will hate it for a few days then love it again. Soon you love it so much you start upgrading. Then you get a stronger metal halide and in turn hate your old one.

Confusing? Not as confusing as your post, how can we know if you will like it or not?

Acrodave, I'm just kidding with you because your question was really impossible to answer. Anyway, try the bulb and if you like the color and your corals respond positively, then it's a keeper.
