The dvrc is having a swap in about a month. If you are in Philly or its surrounding area it is probally the club to look into. I cant remember exactly where they are holding it but I think it is at the camden aquarium this year. last was conshy, and KOP.
DVRC is not holding a swap in a month. It will probably be in October. Though DVRC is the club to look into in the philly area. :lol:

Really? Mike at ARS told me that there was one coming up and it was going to be at the aquarium. I looked into it but can't find any info on anything on the DVRC site. I have been wanting to become a member for the last 2 years but they seem flaky at best. I've sent emails and all, and they won't respond. I don't want to send the dues until I speak to some one since I have heard wierd thing from all the reefers I have spoken to about it. CAN anyone shed light for all of us who want to get involved with the DVRC.
There was talk of having a mini frag-swap at the NJ aquarium but we did not have the time to get it together. Cant speak to not returning emails as they are very good at that. We are having a BOD meeting then a town hall at Michaels this Monday in KOP if you would like to see whats going on with the club. Contact them thru the website and I dont think you will have any trouble.

Thought so, we are usually good at getting back to people quickly. I wouldnt recomend going to the meetings, boring and tedious. I think you should check out the boards though. Like RC but everyone is local so if you want to buy something or need help (like when the electricity goes) there is always someone nearby with a tank that could help. More then worth the $20 a year for that alone. Considering how much we put into our tanks.

Thanks Ugluk! I couldn't have figured this one out with out you. I am now a paid member of the DVRC and went to my first meeting yesterday. Everyone was very nice and inviting. This was just what I was looking for to broaden my reefing horizons. Thanks!
