Wow Phil!:eek2: The tank is really maturing since the last time I was there. Great job. Maybe after hunting season, when I have some free time, I will have to stop over and see it again in person. Or we could stop at your house after "guy's night out" as long as Grant isn't the one planning it this time.:lol:
BTW, thank for stopping over while I was out of town for that emergency. It is great to know that I have friends that are willing to help out in those situations.

Thanks for the great pictures. I really enjoyed having you and Chuck stop by and I'm happy that we had enough time to chat. Your website and online advice have been invaluable to me and I'm sure countless others in the hobby.
Lunch, you're right my skimmer is a GEO, still chugging away nicely. As for the lighting my MH bulb, sadly, is only 250 watts. (You have to understand in the original plan, this tank wasn't really going to have more than a couple of strategically placed SPS corals). Upgrading the lighting is going to be a priority this winter. I'm actually suprised at the amount of growth I've gotten considering the modest lighting.
By the way, Travis, Nick and Lunch.....I've got corals from all three of you growing in the tank so you've all contributed to this SPS takeover thats messed up my original plan!!!

Phil, I'd say you are getting amazing results with that lighting. I see a couple corals that you got as frags from me that are now bigger than my current colonies. The one that sticks out the most is the purple with green polyps digitata. Yours looks to be about twice the size of my colony right now and I have not taken many frags from that colony.

Elliot - I've had good luck with both fish in my tank. As I recall, I've had my LNB for over five years now and he's never done anything worse than peck a snail and that only happens rarely. My Majestic Angel has been with me for a couple of years and he's generally well-behaved. He likes to graze the mucus on a particular patch of red zoanthids in the tank. Funny, its only the one type of zoanthid that he seems to pester and they must not be too bothered because they've multiplied nicely for me.
He also checks out any newly added SPS frag in the tank, but after one quick taste he's done and never bothers them again......knock on wood.
Willjeff - Good luck with your LNB. I think they are a wonderful fish. Mysis seems to work well at keeping the weight on. I also feed mine several varieties of the frozen "formula" type cubes. I feed one frozen cube per day and he gets most of it. (The other fish have figured out how to bump the feeder once the cube pieces get small enough to float out the holes.) Many people report good luck feeding small clams from the local grocery store but my shrimp and brittle starfish always made off with them before my butterfly could get a meal. Thats why I made the feeder.
Lunch - Let me know if there's a good time this week - I can probably make it most anytime that works for you.
Travis - That digitata recently started to really take off. I'm going to have to start fragging it to protect my Pink Birdsnest thats about to be over-run. Now as long as I don't go back and look at your tank again I'll be happy with how mine looks!!
