Phipps Conservatory Pt One

We went to Phipps Conservatory today. There'll be another part tomorrow because I'm tired. These are from the orchid section. I didn't shoot any of these for comp or anything. All were done in jpeg because I knew I'd be shooting 400 or so pics and didn't want to waste space. Here goes, enjoy the trip.

It's not allowed. The place was jamed with people. I did use a flash on almost everything.

way cool. Amazing the colors and shapes. There are finally buds on the trees around here. Just a few small patches of snow here and there in my yard. This place is going to explode with green and growth soon. Seeing your pictures makes me want to see it happen even faster!

Really, no tripods? Is that due to the amount of people or what?

Yes. Through most of it there's a path about 2 and a half feet wide. We were fighting people just stopping to take pics. The wife kept screaming at me, and I'd just tell the people to suck it in and walk around. Some didn't appreciate it, but hey, I'll prolly never see them again!!!!
