I used to run mune for 6-8mo but I just saw in another thread gcarrol uses them for 1 yr and says growth or color does not suffer. But he increases photo period 1 hr after 7 months.
I saw no reduction in growth in my old tank after a year. Same ballast. PFO hood. I did not notice a bluer look either, though I wasn't really looking for it either.
