Well, I just wanted to show off my 29g reef.
It is a drilled 29g with a 29g sump/fuge. The fuge area is 20"x12" with a 5.5" DSB.
Lighting- 2x24w and 2x30w T5 powered by 2 workhorse 5 ballasts.
Flow- Seio 820 and seio 620

Let me know what you think

I plan on turning the iron stand holding the sump/fuge into an end table and sliding the couch right in front of it.

got some nice frags in there! Only thing I would say to do is possibly keep the soft corals from getting too close to the SPS and maybe keep them near the bottom somewhere so there is more room for stonies (although I'm biased haha).

Kase- I'm using a quiteone 4000. I'd perfer a smaller one but its one I had collecting dust around the house. I've had a 29g running for about 3 months but recently moved it to this drilled setup for about 3 weeks. The previous setup was just a undrilled 29g with a hob filter used to run carbon.

DarkXerox- Thanks. I've recently caught the SPS bug and am just getting into stonies. I'm still in the mist of re-arranging some of the stock but I still can't seem to let of the of the sofites go quite yet.

Tank looks great. Lots of different colors. How do you get pictures on your post without having to click on a link?

nice tank, good flow in there which is always key.

I like the pink zoos. What type of monti do you have in the 5th picture down to the left of your blue zoos?

kjordan- I do love a variety of colors. To post pics, I use photobucket.com then copy and past the IMG tag onto RC

eaglesrx- its a superman monti

nice..i think you are running out of room already...it's going to look great when they all grown out for you.

keep us posted.

What kind of camera are you using? Those are some amazing pictures! I assume its a SLR since the quality is great at the macro level.

From my experience, flow is very important to reefs. So far, I'm loving the extra flow when I added the seio 820.

I don't know too much about cameras. I pretty much just shoot and hope for the best. Its a cannon rebel EOS and i don't really know much else.

I just recently got the clam at a frag swap a week ago. I'll get macro pic of it up by tomorrow.
Thanks!!

Wow amazing tank. So many corals... Hows the growth without a MH on some of the more high light corals you have?

And also if you dont mind what is...

That^

Whatever it is it's sweet looking

Thats a Tyree neon green toadstool. Its one of my newest corals and really is that bright green even without the actinics. I love my T5 lights. Energy comsumption is great, low heat and bulb color configuration is limitless. My 150g has 2x250 MH and 2x110w VHO, if I was to do it all over from scratch, I'd for sure go all T5.

real nice pics are those tunzes? Also lets see some pics of the lighting

Thanks!!!
No they aren't tunzes, they're seios. One is a 820 and the other a 620. Here is a pic of the lights and some more random pics.
