i have been using phosban and running it in a phosban reactor from 2 little fishies but no matter how i tune the flow rate after some time the reactor will slow down and the media will not be fluidised properly . i need to flush it again to tune back and it is happening every day for me .

pls advice

I put the phosban in a media bag tightly packed and run my 1200gph MJ wide open also put carbon in a different bag but same reactor not sure if this is good but it never plugs up

Your not supposed to put the gfo in a media bag....well I shouldnt say not supposed to, its just nt the preferred method.

You are correct in wanting it to tumble. Try to filter the water going into reactor.

I use a 6x6 inch piece of filter material. the white stuff like cotton you can tear. I use a rubber band to hold it on to the intake of my maxi jet. You dont want it to be wrapped tight around the intake. Mine almost forms a ball shape or bubble around the intake.

This greatly reduces the sediment that gets sucked into my reactor.
