PhosBan Question

I'm new to using my Phosphate Reactor, and I have had PhosBan running in it for about 2 weeks now. I looked today and the phosban has changed color from the dark brown to an almost purple hued color. Does this mean it is spent and should be replaced?

I do not know that color has anything to do with its availability to bind more phosphate.

If the phosphate is still elevated, and you've been running it for 2 weeks, it may well be spent, however.
