Phosban Reactor Question

Do you think I could get away with using only one phosban reactor with Phosban (or similar media) and Carbon on about 150g total water volume?

Thing is, I could always add a 2nd one down the road. Plus, if I try this out and it doesn't work I can always keep my eye out for a used 2nd one. However, I don't want it to waste my time and money and have it not be effective.

Thoughts?

It does help. I run both in one reactor. First I put in some carbon, then my Phosban or what I am using, then top it off with more carbon.

It helps keep the phosban from tumbling too much and getting ground into powder. I think it has made a nice difference. Seeing a decline in algae growth.

I think you could get by with one, you'd see results sooner with two. Not too mention you can always reduce the amount of phosban by running just one with Phosban and carbon, and then the other reactor with just more carbon.

I use 2 seperate reactors. I do this because I got a good deal on 2 ($25 for both).

I've never heard about running phosban & carbon in one chamber.
