phosban rinse?

Does anyone rinse the phosphate remover with ro/di water before putiing it in the canister? I did and it limited the rinsing it in the chamber. Will this hurt the outcome of the material?

I just run ro through the reactor for a minute or two.

Run it a little while with RODI in a bucket until the water clears a bit.
