I use Spectrum Thera+. Is this loaded with phosphates?

Any alternative choices?


Does frozrn mysis have phosphates?

Will a phosphate kit measure phosphate of fresh water?

All foods contain some phosphate. It is a part of many proteins and other biomolecules, so it is not necessarily a contaminant.
That said,many fresh, frozen and canned seafoods from the grocery store have phosphate added as a preservative.

Yes, most kits will detect phosphate in fresh water. I like the Hach phosphate kit, but it is expensive. There are others that folks like, Salifert, Deltec, Merck, etc.
