I was wondering what do i put inside of the phosphate reactor? I put phosban in it with the nylon bag but it doesnt fit if i put too much in it. Should i use the nylon bag or not? and also the phosphate reactor is not filled up with water. Sometimes it is and sometime it is filled up half way. Is it because of the pump i have?

Don't use nylon bag...I fill my reactor up half-way with Rowa-phos...any ball valve should be place on incoming line, not out going.
You should aim for 20-30 gph flow, which will look like the surface of media is VERY gently bubbling, if you are using an upward flow reactor...a Maxi-jet 400 pump is what I use...the reactor should be full of water...your bag may be impeading flow...get it out...
