phosphate removal from rodi question

Can someone please tell me which filter removes phosphate from water? I had called airwaterandice about elevated phosphates. They told me that they were going to send me a new 1micron because the one that came with my unit was deffective and clogged really easy.

So how exactly does low pressure affect the membrane and if it is the carbon or membrane that filters the phosphates. Thanks
