I need:

-3 lbs carbon the cheaper stuff, if anyone else need arbon we can get more at a cheaper price and split it up (i don't think the ROX carbon makes a differance and cost more)

-1 set of 5 state RO/DI filters (3 filters and DI resin, they have a kit)

-1 jar of pellet food by spectrum (you get reef chili with it this month)

-1 jar or phytoplanton if they have that.

I'm not in a rush for anything but would like it in the next month sometime. I think that is doable.


PS:I got the air dryer new off the forum, so i do not need that anymore.

I dealt with a bunch of phosphate issues early on with my tank. It will be very hard to quantify this without a colorimeter (very expensive phosphate meter). I would say unless someone out there has done the test you may have to trust the suppliers word. Phosphates are very hard to measure in the concentrations us reefers deal with.

I have a hach kit you can borrow and run some tests if you want.

It sounds like enough ppl need GFO to get 2 gallon size containers for $52 each that is 4lbs of GFO each so 8 total. Maybe cheaper with Jason's discount...but plan on $13 a lb for GFO. Any one have a small digital scale we could use at the meeting?.....Jake.....I think you might

We also need to decide if we are going to get pellets or graduals? I like the pellets cause they do not break down as fast. Anyone else know different?

Pellets doesn't absorb as good as the gradual so I vote for graduals.

Also where is the special for the reactor? I don't see it on their website

I will take 1 or 2 lb of GFO, 1lb carbon, one 1 gallon set of 2 part mix, and one Spectrum MARINE FORMULA 1MM 150g. Kim my GF has a scale we might be able to borrow. I will check the capacity tonight.
