Is there any way to remove Phosphates in live rock. Im afraid I have been putting so much in from my tap water that it has leached into my rocks. I plan on doing a 100% water change and removal of my sand bed to a BB when I pick up my ro unit this week. Just looking for some advice.
By the way, I have been battling algae for years and also have a phosban reactor.

Keeping the phosphate low in the water will eventually pull it off the rock.

Some folks also resort to letting bacteria digest it for weeks. They call that rock cooking.
