I guess next week I'll order a salifert phosphate kit, and test the water again. If that test ends up showing high phophates I'll do a water change, retest, and if needed, I'll order some phosban. In my understanding, phosphates will cause algae blooms and keep corals from calcifying. I do have a few small patches of algae, but I'm assuming that it's from the cycle. The corraline from the rock is spreading like wildfire, which is a calcifying algae. So maybe the test is off. I've always had problems with red sea test kits. that just happens to be the only type of po4 test i have.
