Phosphors v. Phosphate

A couple months ago when I decided to set up a tank I started buying things I thought I needed. I wanted a Hannah phosphate meter but ordered the phosphors meter instead. I know the two are related but what is the difference between to two chemicals. Thanks.

It will still read phosphate if you do a conversion.
((Hanna ULR reading) * 3.066 )/1000

I had 6 this morning.
6*3.066 = 18.39 ppb
18.39 ppb/1000 = 0.0183 ppm

+1, the phosphorus meter is a more accurate meter for our saltwater use.
