I have a little catching up to do here.

This system - 185G custom-made starphire peninsula display with external overflow, 40G custom-made acrylic sump plumbed behind, 70G custom-made acrylic grow-out tank plumbed underneath - was installed last Dec '06. Custom cabinetry and display tank installed on the same day. Lots of help from PL Builders (reefsearcher53), prugs, red sea purple tang

I got some initial plumbing set up in the back cabinet, some of the live rock, and some water in the display by Feb '07:

Water has been in the tank, circulating throughout the entire system (tank/sump/growout) for about 3 months now. It's roughly 275- 290G total:

I redid my plumbing and drains to make the system quieter. Lots of help from prugs

Bought a new skimmer to make the system louder

Bought a wavysea to oscillate on the return:

Finally got my lights pretty much finalized:

Even got the pendant hung over my growout underneath the main display:

I guess I need more work on organizing my electrical:

But the rockwork is pretty much how I want it (I'm finally getting more serious about stocking this thing now):

Thanks for the comments everyone. Lots of excellent set-ups going on in WRS right now, so I have to keep up :spin1:

Got a few more pieces of live rock for the growout tank this past weekend. Thank to NewNoob for helping me out at AU.

prugs - I'll be adding a little bitty gem tang as soon as that pair you have hidden away i that 'love tank' start making beautuful music together like you promised :fish1: :fish1:

Finally an update. It's been 2 months since I last posted. My 75G tank is no more - sold. The new tank is stocked pretty well, and growth has picked up quite a bit recently. Still room to stock more though
