Photoperiod??

I don't have one right now:D I usually do 8-10hr of metal halide though...but with all the electricity I will be using, I might lean towards 7-8hr of metal halide with actinics only at dawn and dusk.

I run my 24 NC on at 10 and off at 7 with both the 10k and actinic bulb. I just got the dual ballast so I am not too sure what I will run now. Probably turn actinic on at maybe 8ish and off around 9 then run 10k from 10-7 i guess.

I was doing 10 hours of actinic and 8 hours of 10K on my PC lighting. Just changing over to MH and thinking about doing 9 hours of MH.

My first 2 actinic bulbs come on a 9, then 2 more at 10:30, then mh's at noon. Mh's off at 9:30, 2 pcs off at 10:30, and last pc off at 11:30. Long hours on the pc actinics but I'm up looking/messing around fairly early and late. No diatoms or anything so I guess the actinics don't mess with it much being longer hours.

honestly, my brother just turns his light on when he wakes up, then when he goes too bed. mine are on timers, and there is no difference between coral growth, stress, or color.

i think that they adjust to whatever you give them. CORAL are HARDY, ADJUSTABLE, AND EASY!!!
