Nice! Love the eagle eye. Is it armageddon in the bottom of the second picture?

Those are "Herman Reds" named after our very own HERMAN!

Yes it is a Nikon with the Sigma macro, and thanks for the compliments! :)

Great pictures, great Zoos, and not to hijack but what kind of Nikon is it? I am in the market for a new camera and was considering the Canon S2 IS or the S3 IS, are you familiar with those? Those pictures are really amazing.

Hi, Not that it matters but "Herman's Reds" actually came from me about 8 years ago :) . They grow fast but are hard to propagate because they dont peel off the rock too well. I grew them out from 3 polyps that hitch hiked on a Tonga branch rock. Herman is a good friend of ours, btw. He has really good luck growing them, maybe he'll chime in. I know he lurks ;) JOHNNY

It's a Nikon DSLR, the D200, with a Sigma 105mm macro lens.

The S2 and S3 are nice cameras, I've never shot one but I've talked to a few people that shoot them and post here.

Thanks, I'll give the S2 IS a shot :0 (not pun intended) and will post some pics when i get it.

Hey Johnny, how did those tanks work out for you?

Felix

I have the S2 IS. The main reason I bought it, was the super macro feature. To my shame I must admit that I haven't had the time or patience to experiment with it much. The few "point and shoot" pictures I have taken where good, but I know this camera has way more powerful potentials. The only complaint (and I knew this beforehand from the reviews) is the lense cap, cheaply made and falls off easily. I wonder if they improved that on the 3?
