Photoshop Elements Help

So, after I've converted a picture to B&W, how do I make one item in the picture color?

Is there a website to learn about photoshop elements? With tutorials and such?

The way that I do it is load the B&W and the Color images as layers. Put the B&W layer on top of the color layer.

Use the erase tool to erase, from the B&W layer, where you want the color to show through.
