There are many ways of doing it. I personally like the clone stamp tool. It makes short work of little spots and the opacity and edge hardness can be changed to get different results. This is a quick example I whipped up getting rid of the micro bubbles floating through the tank. Hope that helps...Jeff
I like the clone stamp tool because it gives you the most control. If you're in a hurry or don't want to mess with it the Spot Healing Brush is ok. I would also create a new layer and do your editing on that layer that way if you don't like the results its a lot easier to erase them and start over again.
Hit "J". It's the band-aid icon on the toolbar. You didn't mention which version of PS you're using though. I'm using PS CS3. You can cycle through the 4 related tools by hitting Shift J.
