I'm looking to do a "phyto" group buy *if* Michael G. cant help me out (I think he only grows so much cultures)..

Anyways...

I've contacted one of the sellers on ebay and I can get the 2-liters for $15 each and I'm waiting on a reply for shipping..

I told him the order would be FOUR or FIVE 2 liters..

I want one 2 liter
I assume dan wants one 2 liter
and I assume Norm will want one 2 liter..

That leave 2 open slots...

I'll post how much split shippin will be once I get a reply..

Shelf life is 4-5 months in the fridge, but it must be shaken up at least once a week or the culture will *choke* itself out...

I did think about this Norm..

At this time its easier to buy it. I gotta do more homework on it yet :)

I got a reply back from the seller...

"I only ship fresh Phyto that is exactly 7 days old, maybe 8 if I am unhappy with density. So I would have to get your order in and create it just for you. This could take about a week maybe 2 depending. Then once they are ready I can ship 4 maybe 5 1 liters per box. Which would be 2-3 flat rate boxes totalling $24.30 Let me know if that is something you want to do. "

So total price (shipped) per 2 liter of greenwater will be $19.86

If your interested let me know, The cut-off for this will be Sunday Evening... If we get the five 2 liters sold then I will place the order and whoever is in can pay me when it comes in, I can bring it to rainer's meeting, should be here for the meeting if I place the order monday :)

Pretty much Jeff,

I think DT's is a combo of the cultures available mixed into one bottle...

This is a single strain "Nannochloropsis Oculata"

Will benefit the tank none the less :cool:
 
Looking for one more person to get in on this *OR*

Someone to split another 2 liter (He's shipping it in 1 liters, so it'll be easy)

i would be interested in 1 liter if you can get another person that wants the other 1 liter. I just wont go through that much in that amount of time, and my fridge is starting to look like a fish cooler.

Works out to be about $10 then :)

I made the order last night for the 5 of them, He said I should have them in time for the may 5th meet, He's going to culture the batch just for this order :)

Also he said if we all like it and plan to buy again, he will discount us under a "repeat buyer" thing he does :cool:

Total is $19.86 shipped for 2 liters :)

I can wait until the meet Norm, its not a biggie :)
