Phytoplankton

I just got a mandarin the other day and I need to start supplementing the tank with phytoplankton so that the copepods and amphipods can eat and reproduce faster. What is a good brand of phytoplankton to buy? Anyone have the link to DIY phytoplankton? What about a link to a DIY brine shrimp hatchery?
Anyone ever buy those "pods in a bottle" that is supposed to contain LIVE copepods?
