Very nice! How long ago did you get the frags?

i got the frags each with two heads about 4 years ago.

the frog in the background is also the same age but i got it as a small colony and broke it in half by mistake. it has double in size since breaking it and the other half is in my 110g which has grown significantly as well.

i have lost two wall neon frogs and a wall hammer due to salinity issues and it is these that didnt make it along with most of my sps'.

hard lesson learned. ouch!

jejton, they dont sting one another. they all seem to get along! :)

that's great ! how many heads are on each of them now?

One of my first corals was a frogspawn. I bought it at Christmas time. It had one healthy head and one that was almost non existant, due to being eaten by a fish.

the damaged head regrew completly and has even split. The other head split into three. 5 heads, in the span of a few months. NOT bad !

it's always a great feeling when you step back from your tank, and you see how well things are progressing, and how they grow in your tank. It means you are doing something right !

congrats !

tar!!!

i havent really counted how many heads are on each...and as they grew out, the new heads would block out the light of the older ones...which would eventually light starve them and die off.

i still really like my euphyllias but i may be moving them into my 110g soon as i think their toxins are affecting my sps'. they have gotten huge and thus, i can only imagine that their toxin output is substantial as well.

5 heads in a few months is awesome growth!!! fast indeed. the corals in my tank are definitely slow growers as i only have my lights on 6 hours a day.

you are right indeed! i do enjoy watching them grow with a sense of satisfaction of doing something right.

i see you like classical music! baroque? classical? romantic? post romantic? modern day 'what in the heck was that all about?'

i dont think euphyllias have toxins. they do however STING things

Yes, but they won't sting each other.

catfisher, I agree when it comes to hammers and frogspawns, but not torches. They do not play nice with the others!

true dat, forgot about the evil torch, LOL.
