the guy was in a 10g QT for about 3 weeks. Copper two weeks. He was in a 29g qt but i took it out when he didnt eat for a couple days of prazi treatment. Today he went carpet surfing. i have egg crate that i usually put over the 29g too.

I wish you were closer. I have one in my 210g. Trys to bite me every time I put a hand in the tank. You could have him! I would even throw in a huge, mean Coral Banded shrimp! Sorry for the loss.....

Sorry to hear it! It sucks when fish jump... I weigh down all my eggcrate now. Twice I've lost fish even with eggcrate... once it was a niger trigger, BTW.

thanks guys. maybe the shortness of the 10g tank, makes it more vulnerable to jumping. i had my 180g rimless without a cover for 6 months and never had a fish jump. i've since had it covered with egg crate too though after i had a previous fish jump in QT out of a maybe 14" tall rubbermaid.

Ah man that sucks. I also lost a Sargassum a couple months back to jumping.

I lost a baby Lunula to jumping a few years back...that hurt...

Sucks. I had a blue jaw trigger that jumped too. I was kicking myself in the butt for a week and then got plastic mesh top.
