picasso clowns

ORA Picasso Clowns are A. Percula. Not A. Ocellaris. Nor Black Var. A. Ocellaris. And that is the final word.:)

One of the LFS's around me was calling them ORA picasso Occ. too. I thought about correcting them but just decided to leave it alone. :)

maybe someone got confused at ORA when selling a batch and called them Ocellaris? or put it on the invoices or something?

Both of these stores seem pretty good to me and I dont see why they would make such a mistake... Or maybe I'm just giving them to much credit... lol Ok I'll stop now.

Still can't get a good shot but here's the fish through cleaner glass...

maybe when the shipment comes in, they are just labeled "Picasso Clowns"? If that is the case I can see how they could be mistaken as occ.

HaHa are you refering to my compliments on the picasso? I dont think this guy could hear that enough with such a nice little guy!

I think if the store around here got ones that nice I might have been tempted to pay the $115 they quoted me. thank god they did not get them in that nice... that woulda been a hard one to explain to the boyfriend.

"I'm sorry... I dont have rent money this month, can you float me? why you ask? I spent it on those clownfish. What? you want to break up?"

yes :) that picasso is not typical. iv never seen any picassos that nice. and ive had over 10 of them this past year.

just dont give him "any" if he complains lol

LOL!!!! I'm a woman...I know how to play that game :)

he's learned pretty well not to ask how much I am putting into my tank... He has however still not learned not to try "anything" when its "tank time".

these guys where my favorite two in the lot...i noticed some had kind of washed out color...These two were the most vibrant w/ the best markings...They are eating already and inseparable.

I find that feeding frozen Formula One and Cyclop-eeze will usually help bring out better color in their orange. Vibra-grow pellet food is also very good if you can find it.

i will have to check that out...

right now i am feeding them what the LFS was using...

Morning: "Omega One Marine Pellets w/ Garlic" softened up with a few drops of "Reef Pure Vitamin/Hufa Supplement"

Night: Frozen Mysis
