I just got a pair of clownfish from a LFS. They had them under false perculas. I was told that they came from ORA. Can anyone confirm if they are picasso's or just regular false perculas.

i wonder if those are perculas that came from the picasso pair and never developed full coloration

Maybe..

I guess i will have to wait a few months to find out. These guys are pretty large, about 2in+. They are pretty neat looking for regular clowns.

ive often wondered if ORA only gets a few picasso from every hatch they must sell the ones that dont develop the picasso marking

That's exactly true...they sell them as regular percs, but they have the same viable chance of picasso reproduction as any other. None of my picasso's are considered completely picasso, because only one has the helmet effect and none have the cheek square. They are still considered picassos, though.
