depends on what u want to grow...

If you want LPS, Softies, Zoos, and Mushrooms.... go with a t5 system (4 bulb IMO) since its a tall tank.

If you want SPS get a 150 MH system with 2 t5 actinic blubs. (My choice!)

Right now I am stuck with 65w x 2 and its alright but I want more lighting. I should have took the hit form b4 and went all out. Lighting is important when it comes to corals.

Just remember t5s might cost more, but it will put out more lighting then PC. MHs well they are spoken for.

Thanks for all the ideas everyone

Anyone have any opinions on lighting stups that are $150 and below.
I don't want any sps or anything difficult, Just a simple nano tank.

besides, my wife would lose her mind if she knew I was even considering $150 for lights.

thanks everyone.

if you want cheap lights that are "good enough", try the coralife single strips. they are probably less than $70, and they have enough wattage to grow softies, zoas, etc.

I have the coralife aqualight 96 watt powerquad. Its nice and I like it, but the bulbs are like 40. I dont know about orbits quality, but their 2x40 watt with moonlights.
