I recently invested in a 12gal Nano Cube DX, and I'm too the point where I need to begin thinking of fish. I'm thinking of getting 2-3 <I>small</I> gobies, and a swimmer of some kind. I've got the gobies picked out, but I don't know what to get that will actually swim in the water collum that would comfortably fit. What should I get? I want something colorful, and something that not everyone has. Trying to go a bit different with this tank!

Would a cherub work in a 12?
The Flaming Prawn is a good idea but I thought they liked to hide a lot, go for the money pit of all tanks:

cherub only gets around 3.5 inches. i dont see why he couldnt be kept in a 12. people have kept them in 10 although its not a big differance.
in sure the flaming prawn goby would hide alot, but as long as the tanks view is accesable from all sides you should be able to spot him and he is GORGEOUS!!!...imo

well I have the gobys picked out. I think I'm gonna go with a green banded goby, a red head goby, and possibly a red neon goby. I want somethin that swims though. Somethin not alot of people have, somethin different, you know? I like cherubs and all, but I have one in my 72. Out of the pygmys I like the flame more....too bad it doesn't stay small....
