Picked up a new frag!

Picked up a small pavona frag from the LFS this weekend. Each weekend I would find myself looking at it, but never jumping on it. Well, the 30% off sale last weekend got me to take the jump. I am very excited to see how this does over time. It is my first pavona I have owned.

Look more like a Cyphastrea. I have a frag that is very similar to yours. That's a Decadia who is a branching Cyph.

Not even remotely close to a Pavaona. I would seriously question the stores knowledge, naming this a pavona.

It has a similar appearance to Pavona Maldivensis, so I would be hesitant in questioning someone else's knowledge. Other than the lack of flesh striation, these coral do look similar in color and form and could easily be mistakenly listed as such.

Look more like a Cyphastrea. I have a frag that is very similar to yours. That's a Decadia who is a branching Cyph.

My branching Cyphastrea has the same coloration as yours, so +1 on Decadia
