Picking up a Crocea - should I dip before introduction?

OK, I am picking up a Crocea from an established reef. I am really feeling lazy and not wanting to set up quarantine. (I know, I know) I do not have any parasites in my display, and I would really like to keep it that way, so...

Is there a specific dip method as a preventative to get nasties from clams? This will be my first clam, and I am not familiar with them at all. The clam is well attached to a piece of rock already, so I will be epoxying the attached rock as to not disturb the clam.

i would not recommend a dip on a clam as a preventative treatment. set up a QT or take the risk
