Alright, i've learned 2 things since i've started keeping SPS corals. 1, everybody likes pictures. And 2, nobody really knows what they have in their tank (or at least the people that i get frags from). So i've accumulated a number of frags, and don't know exactly what they are. I thought i'd share them and accept comments. Please help me know what i've housing in my tank, please!

#1 This guy is growing really well, but i'm not sure what it is. Probably a montipora or something. You can see a little of how well it is encrusting, i've only had it about 4 weeks.

#2 This guy is growing really well, too. Sometimes in the morning he's got polyps extended about a full inch. I broke it once, hence the 2 in the picture, but it grows pretty fast.

#3 This came as a surprise. I was traded for some other corals, and the guy just showed up with this and said, "enjoy." I've had it for about 2 days. Any ideas?

#4 This guy came as a "sorry we're late on your order" when a store forgot to ship my order. They just threw this in, and so i have no clue what it is. Hasnt grown at all, but it hasnt receded, and as you can see it show's polyps.

Sorry, I cannot narrow your specimens to the species level (with one exception). However, I can provide you with IDs to the genus level:
1. you are correct, it is some sort of Montipora sp.

2. Acropora sp.

3. Heliopora coerulea

4. Acropora sp.

Hey, thanks. I wasnt looking for the exact taxonomy, but anything would help. Anybody else agree or disagree?
