This tank is proving to be a good pic station. The build thread in on this board somewhere.

Thanks for looking
Matt

CKreef- I use a NikonD80 with a 105mm macro and for some shots I put a 2X teleconverter on.
Thanks

wow... stunning shots.

is there any colour enhancement or sharpening with those shots?

And... what resolution do you have those in? They would make awesome wall prints or even desktop wallpapers.

waow amazing images, and gorgeous corals!!
sharp, bright, vivid, big sense of composition... extra cool!

My fav's are the 3rd, the 6th and the last one.

Can I have what's the coral on the 6th, by the way? Cynarina?

cheers,
sabine

Thank you all for the response on my new pics, as alot of work went into learning some new photographic techniques to be able to capture these shots.

kactusficus- You are right on. That is a small peach color Cynarina. Thank you for your response on my composition as my dad is a painter and all he can think about is telling me more and more about composition. I am not a pro at this by any stretch but I love coral and just taking pics of it. The only thing is that there are just so few pics I can get out of my tank so I had to start to try to sell some prints to be able to purchase more coral and my new lens that is coming next week a new Sigma 150mm macro.
The best photography I have seen on this site has been from Gregr(our mod) and Blazer88. I am still learning and have a way to go in this hobby within a hobby.

mrchriscarlton- The pics you see are the true color of the coral. I take the pic in Raw covert to Tiff and make any noise adjustments in Neat Image then put into PScs3 and adjust the lighting and resize to JPG. I also keep it saved as Tiff for any prints that I produce. The size of all the pics above are about 57meg each in TIFF at about 3400 x 2200 give or take some pixels.

I will be putting up some more later tonight.

Thanks
Matt
