Pics of all my fish

These are pictures of most of the fish in my two year old 55 gallon tank. There are a few fish that are hard to get good pictures of because they are too fast or too cryptic.

very beautiful fish i especially like your angel how big is it and does it touch any of your corals

Thanks! The flame angel is about 4" and the Watanabe is about 5". Neither of them have touched any of my coral.

cool collection of fish! surprised they all get along?

Thanks mysterybox. I have had good luck with everyone in the tank being pretty peaceful. The only time I see any aggression from the angels is when everyone is looking for their spots to sleep. The Leopards like to circle around their sand spots before diving in for the night and the Angels sometimes disturb them during that process. The flame sometimes tries to bully some of the fish but everyone seems to hold their own fairly well. I think I will eventually either get a larger tank or give the flame to a friend to put in his 125. He seems like the only problem child in the tank.

Also suprised the wrasses get along. My experience with the Mystery Wrasse and BSL was that over time the Mystery gets bigger and meaner, had it happen twice. Also the Mysery with the cleaner shrimp, but every fish is unique. Nice fish, and selections for your tank. Both the fish and the tank look like they are doing great.

Thanks Sigmund! When I purchased the mystery wrasse I knew there was the possibility of it eventually getting aggressive. This one has a crooked jaw kinda like it was broken at some point. It eats everything and is healthy. Maybe the jaw is part of the reason why its so passive. Who knows.

What does BSL mean?

quick question what coral is that that the clownfish are swimming in/around in the pics

That's baby green bubble tip anemone. It was on a piece of live rock someone gave me. I traded someone some zoanthids that were covering 75% of my tank for a bunch of live rock and they had a bubble tip that split a few times and this one was on a piece of live rock. It was the size of a quarter and see through white. Its been coloring back up for quite a while and has grown quite a bit.

how many flames did you try before you got one that dosen't pick? Or did you buy from someone else that had him in a reef

Thanks bigdog0598! That flame is the first one I purchased. I feed my tank a few times a day to keep them well fed and to deter them from nipping.

what happened to the mouth of your mystery?

love the watanabe btw.

The mouth was like that when I got the fish, so it was either born with the defect or something happened to it before I got it. Doesnt seem to bother it in any way.

The Watanabe is my favorite. If I get a male Watanabe I will most likely give the flame to my friend to make room.
