I just took these pics after arranging the rocks a couple of days ago. Im pretty new to the hobby, and have had this tank running for about 4 months, ever since my parents got a 60 gallon FOWLR tank (which they poorly maintain haha). What do you think??? Any obvious things im doing wrong????

General shot of the tank where most of the frags are:

The other side of the 20 Long tank, (with nasty aipasia rock... i know i need to control this thing now... but im scared of peppermints eating my zoas!)

what kind of coral is this...? Does anyone knowwhat kind of lighting it requires? All it really does is release this silky web type of stuff all the time... haha

and my only non-crab tank inhabitant:

About the tank: 20G Long, 606 Mini-jet, Fusion Nano-Skimmer, Aquaclear 50 filter, Coralife T5's (24 inch, 10000K, 28 watts), and some kind of heater which keeps the temp rock solid (haha dont know where i got it), and im using a glass top. Is this recommended... or not ? Thanks for the input! :D

as far as pepermint shrimp eating your zoos, dont worry about them. i have about 4 in my 15 gallon (thread coming soon about it) and they leave the zoos and blasto's along with xenia alone. as far as that coral goes, i think and again THINK is the key word that it is a echino. but im not sure at all.

thanks for the input Kingofthereef, i definately need to get some peppermints going, before i have nothing but an aiptasia tank. Also, what kind of skimming do you do on your 15 gal? I have a nano fusion skimmer, which isnt worth its weight in fish crap. I havent had good experiences with keeping fish in my tank, but the corals are doing great...

i dont skim. lol. i am a firm believe rhtat skimmers are fish crap. i used to use air driven skimmers and they worked ok, then i switched to the nano fission which suck fish gills. now all i have is a cpr aquafuge with a filter pad and carbon. in my 24 gallon aquapod, however, i have a refugium. i think the all natural way to go is the best. You can buy an in-tank fuge for like $35 that will work perfectly. as far as fish go, what have you tried? i thin in a 20 gallon, unlike my 15, you should only keep a few fish. in my 15, i have 10 fish, no flaming me people, but i do constant maintenence, and my fish are small. in your 20, try a pair of cheap clownfish (false perculas, true perculas), a gobie or blenny or jawfish (depending on how deep your sandbed is, and maybe 3-6 green chromis. hope this helps, and ill post my new thread for you soon, most likely sunday when im not busy with homeowrk
