MdM31 Premium Member Mar 26, 2006 #10 What kind of subsrate are you using?? What do you use for flow? -Mike
jsteidl Premium Member Mar 26, 2006 #11 Substrate is a combination of fine sand, medium sand, and course with small shells. Flow is via return from garage sump(Sequence Dart), and 4 Seio's in the tank. 2 large Seio and 2 850's. Pushing roughly 5K gallons in tank combined.

jsteidl Premium Member Mar 28, 2006 #20 The tank lighting is via a custom made PFO fixture with: 3 10K Ushio 250 watt 2 140watt VHO URI Blue Actinics All fired with electronic Icecap ballasts. The light fixture is only 5ft long and is centered on the 6ft tank. Gives plenty of light and good shadow areas on the sides. Again, thanks to all for the compliments. Hope to show you what it will be like in another 6 months.
