Thought I would share some pics of my office tank.

Tank Specs

36x26x24 cube

Aqua medic 36" pendant dual 250w DE w/T5 actinics

MR-2 skimmer w/ BL-40 HD pump

BL-40 HD return pump feeding two 3/4" penductors

CR-1 calcium reactor

Hi-Flow sump 30x16x16

100 pounds of live rock

160 pounds of live sand

30-40 mexican turbo snails

1 small yellow tang

1 green chromis

1 orange linkia starfish

1 blue S. Haddoni Carpet anemone (I have had the carpet in 4 different tanks over a 6 year period)

Tank was started this past October, although I had the tank for 1 year prior to putting water in it....

Thanks to Tim Woolston for doing 95% of the aqua scaping!

I need to take more pics, but here are a few of the progression of the reef. This will ultimately be an anemone/clown tank, but now it is housing corals from my tank at home, while I change the tank at home.

Great start Andy , looks great .

What I want to know is what took you so long , I've been waiting for this long overdue post .

Thanks Steve and Andrew... I will see what I can about pics of the equipment...I am the worlds worst photographer on tanks...so I will try to get brighter/better ones. These don't do it justice...it is really starting to come together.

We built the rock work using PVC pipe and elbows to make the cave under the structure...the yellow tang love to hang out in the cave.

yeah yeah yeah... :D Not sure what took so long. I think I had to figure out what I "really" wanted to do in there...now that I have it figured out...not sure. I think I have had anemone tank in my sig for about a year... now it is true!

Well now you can take the in progress out of the tank discription .:p

Was it hard to aquascape with that shape ?

how hard has the had. been to care for?

Thanks everyone!

The Haddoni has been pretty "easy"... I don't feed it much anymore because I am afraid it will get really really too big. It is currently about 15-16" in diameter when fully open. When I do feed it, I feed it a jumbo shrimp from the grocery store...

They are notorious fish eaters...it has eaten its fair share...mostly if they were sick and couldn't avoid swimming into it. It has eaten a yellow tang and a PBT in the past. The PBT I had in the tank for years, but it had gotten sick.

Andy, looks like you have 2 chromis............

p.s nice looking tank.

I had 2...one carpet surfed. :(

Looks nice! Just what I am planning for the next tank.

What's the rational behind a high flow sump? A closed loop would be more efficient if water movement was your purpose. I'm not knocking it I've just never understood the philosophy behind it?
