Pics of my 90g

I haven't posted a pic of my tank in quite a while, so I figured I'd post one now.

The specs:
90g AGA w/ megaflow
4x MJ powerheads (2x 900, 2x 1200)
ViaAqua 2600 return pump
Coralife 220 needlewheel skimmer
4x54w T5 retro kit
Kalk reactor w/ dosing pump
approx 2" sandbed
a lot of LR, probably about 120-140 lbs (most is pretty dense)

Inhabitants:
A pair of ocellaris clowns
3 firefish
1 potters angel
1 yellow watchman goby
1 sixline wrasse
1 brittle star larger than a dinnerplate
1 tigertail cucumber
margarita, astrea and nassarius vibex snails
3 conch's (1 queen, 2 fighting)
For corals, a mixture of a few SPS and LPS, and a bunch of softies, zoos and shrooms.

Now for the pics. I figured I'd post the old ones too.

This first one is a few days after the initial transfer from the 50g.

This next one is a couple weeks later after adding more rock.

And this last one is now. I did add a few more corals and rearange the rock a little, but tried to keep it similar when I moved 3 months ago. My coraline crashed when I moved, but it is coming back slowly.

LOL, quiet Psimitry :D Besides, no one else goes over to the other place...

Thanks Rekonn! In the first two pics I was using 4x65w PC's. The last is my 4x54w T5. Its a Tek retro from reefgeek that I upgraded a little. I got IceCap SLR reflectors instead of the Teks, and I went with ATI bulbs vs. the Geismanns. I have 2x Blue+, 1x Aquablue, and 1x GE 6500k. I really like the color combo, and the growth is amazing compared to anything I've had with other types of lighting.

My SPS are doing pretty well, although they're only easy SPS.

The digi colony to the left is really orange, the color is all out of wack in the picture, but that is about 2x the size of the original frag that I got, and it has also encrusted all over its rock. I got that at the March auction I think?? I got the red cap at the May auction, and that was about 1/4 the size. The birdsnest I got in Jan. as a tiny stick its now a multi-branch colony about the size of a lime. The growth may not be ooh-ahh amazing, but I'm excited because the color is good and they're actually growing. The only one that hasn't done so well is the blue & red montistrea, it started out as a tiny chip, and it has fully encrusted its plastic plug and grown onto the rock it was stuck to, but some zoos were too close and it kinda stopped.

Lack of calcium in the water perhaps? :D

In truth, it does look really good. I wish my tank looked that good. I truly don't understand why it doesn't.

good growth rate in sps are not just calcium it is a balance or lots of things but mainly keeping high STABLE CA MG and ALk. but stability is one of the most important things.

I tell ya, its that whole set it and forget it thing :D J/K

For the record, the kalk reactor only ran out of kalk a week and a half ago.

Right - I was giving him hell about not refilling his Kalk reactor.

'cause giving Joey hell is fun! :D
