Pics of my Anemone-only tank and questions

I have one of those 34 Red Sea Max tanks. Love the tank! Set it up as an anemone and clown-only tank.

I'll post some pics. Here are my questions...

1. Do I need to build a wall of live rock higher for the nems? They don't seem to be climbing higher up on the rock that is there, so are they getting enough light? The lights are 10,000K T-5s. If I need to build up more live rock, I will. I was just trying to give everyone some more space and give the clowns enough space to eventually spawn.

2. The two RBTA's both had deep green centers, and now they look like they are bleaching out a little. They are actually not as bad as the photos look, but I still want to do whatever I can to get that deep color back. I have had them about a week. Any guesses? If they wanted more light, they would move, right?

With T-5's at 10,000K you are providing plenty of light. You don't mention the number of bulbs, but if you have say a 4 or more bulb fixture, you could even add something more blue, like an aquablue which provides good par and would be pleasing aesthetically. I believe that regular small feedings expedites the recolonization of zooxanthellae in bleached anemones. Yours look slightly bleached, but with regular feeding and good lighting, you should see the color darkening.

I think the lights would be OK if they're new enough. I'm assuming the water parameters are good. Something is causing the bleaching. I agree that it makes sense to let them get higher.

Your tank seems to have a greenish tint ont he glass, but I'm not sure if its algae or just the pics... could there be excess nutrients that the BTAs don't like?

It's algae. Just got lazy and hadn't scraped it off in about a week.

I do probably need to do a water change, though.
