pics of my tank

I figured I would show you guys/gals my tank. I do not believe anyone from here has seen it. It is really difficult to get pics because there are no viewable sides and the glare from the reflector really shows up in pics.
I was able to borrow a camera for the afternoon for my work so here are the pics.

The tank is 36x36x10in deep from inside measurements. Everything is all black and is lit by a 400w SE MH lumenarc with no actinic lighting.

This tank has been up for about 6-7 months but most of the stuff inside came from my older tanks and some have been grown from very small frags. I use to have alot more ricordia than at the present time but a cold snap with a broken heater did about 50 polyps in.

The big A$$ clam is Rs2208's, I am holding onto it until his tank gets back up and running. It is pretty close to 18in.
Before I took his clam there was a mini mountain of very high light zoos. The hill was about the same size as the clam but went higher and quite a few colonies were less than 1/2 in under the water surface of a 400w and loving it. Those have been in my QT for the past few months and will come back once is MONSTER is back in his tank. Although I think he likes my tank better!!
Thanks

One of my favorite of all. These polyps get well over 2-3 inches in diameter and are crazy green. They grow very very slow and I have never seen another morph like these-similar, but not as big or bright. This colony started out 12 polyps 2 years ago. You can tell the size by the pink protopalys in the rear

Well you get the idea- I like zoos and shrooms.
Thanks

awesome zoos, like the pinks, reds, and purple, great pics thanks sharing those now i want to go get some more zoos after seeing those

Beautiful tank!!!! I am still trying the mixed reef and it is going well. I really like the look from top down and sometimes regret not going that route.

hey thanks everyone! The top down view was an idea I had from talking with Peewee at GWA and it made perfect sense?? So I gave it a try, and it is the best view-IMHO. The camera cant duplicate the color from a see through tank as the light spectrum changes through depth. It is vastly different in person! Thanks and happy reefing.

Nanook do you still want your stomatella snails? I have millions and I never heard back from you

Great looking tank!

That would be a really cool idea for a huge tank in a room that you walked on an acrylic floor and looked down at it.

I would like some stomatella's, but I think my crabs would kill them off too fast...I have a huge sally and a couple huge emerald's that are carnivores...they do keep the algae down to nubbons though:D

STUNNING!!!!

I am envious of your zoo's!! Just beautiful.

And may I say your clam is fantastic. Thanks for sharing.

When you decide to frag please shoot me a PM as I would like to put more zoos in my tank

that is amazing. i am impressed- that is a really good lookin tank. do u have to turn off the pumps to be able to veiw the tank? more info or any links that helped you built it would be appreciated. Thanks

What color bulb is the 400? Looks like it 14-20 k. you might be able to get pics with out the blue if you us a 10k.. Not that I'm saying the pics are bad, but you were talking about the color not looking quite as good as the tank. Just a Thought
