Yeah, I've been arguing with my sef whether or not I should get it. I already have a softy weed, GSP, and xenia seemed so much harder to control to boot. BUt I just couldn't resist and made an impulse buy for 15$. I'm happy with my purchase right now, but I'm sure in a few months I'll hate myself. :D

In my opinion, it's very easy to control, contrary to some of the disbelievers around here. Every couple of months, I will go in and whack a few of the large pieces off right at the base with a scalpel. I have NO problems getting rid of it local (everyone always wants frags). In a few days, new little buds will start in their place.

If you want to remove it from an area, do the same process, but hit it with a little kalk paste afterwards.

Wow. that is nice. I had a piece of xenia that fell off the rock, and was still pumping. I was gonna ask if I should try to attach it to the rock or if it will eventually attach itself. its not so much a problem now. My jawfish did some excavating and when I got home from school the spot where the piece of xenia was was completely buried. it was kinda funny :) I can only imagine how many times they have buried my poor nass snails!
