I just got these new corals and as you can see in the pic the scoly has great color. After 3 hours i came home and found all of the purple on the scoly turned brown. Is this normal. Placement is in the sandbed with good light. The scoly looked like it got a little bigger and was thriving under the light. What happend to the color. I haven't checked this coral with the actrinics and this is not my first scoly. My green one held excellent color. Any ideas?

possible Bleaching? What lighting was he previously kept under? what do you have him under now? maybe he should be slowly acclimated to the new light.

14K PHONEIX it was currently under 20k xm. I have purchased brighter corals from them in the past and nothing ever bleached. I wonder if its just the purple scolys. Does anyone have a purple scoly that experianced this.
