ya its a milk crate it took like 1 hour to cut the thing it was so thick lol but its silconed and ziplocked tight so im still adding to it so will see how it goes

I got my silicone at Wal-Mart, and made sure it said Silicone I on it. The other types will have very negative effects on the inhabitants.

Everything looks good so far. What's the total volume on the nano? I started out with a 5 gallon hex tank, didn't take long for me to set up a 30, and (again) didn't take long for me to upgrade again to a 75... Already planning my next one, and this current one's not even finished lol.
 
I've read that GE silicon I is what All Glass brand tanks use, but they obviously have it distributed to them differently, but its the same stuff. I've used it with my tanks with no problems at all.
 
Just because it's all purpose doesn't make it safe. make sure it's NOT mildew resistant! mildew resistant = bad n death! hahah
