Heres the tank as of now:

Picked up 2 more pieces of rock at UA last week. Got one base rock and one live rock. got the sump set up this weekend with the help of mike68! He really is a good guy...

I also gotta glimpse of the pods moving around my glass last night too. Them things are really weird looking! Heres my newest additions of fish...

Now I am saving for the light again....maybe next month I will be able to get some hopefully! Then its coral time...

Looking good. I love the jawfish. I bought one a few weeks ago and the sucker somehow jumped out of my tank where the hole for the skimmer is. Keep us updated on the progress.

That sucks Heather! Mine stays low under the rock in the front in his hole...sometimes he comes out to eat and dips back in when a fish comes near him. He's so skiddish! Lil crackhead..

Jump forward a little...Here it is now with the canopy built with the Power compacts in it

Here is some goodies planted today that Mike brought over to me

Also picked up my 6 line the other day from UA.

Now I'm going to concentrate on more live rock! I prefer base rock....this reef crystals is really putting the purple coralline on thick now.

I think that you need a nice piece of Devils Hand leather in your tank to set it off. lol

I do like it, I just wish that it wouldn't grow so big. When it is small I love it, when it gets bigger it looses it appeal and starts dropping babies. I kind of spread it out years ago and can not seem to give it away anymore. So when a new person comes into the club I like to sread the joy

You're gonna find out about that Anthelia, green star polyps, yellow polyps, and orange cap too :lol:

They're all nice, and I've got most of them in my tank. But they all seem to grow 10-100X faster than everything else.

Hey man , Great job on the canopy ..... I think you should load up on all the cheap GSp , devils hand and all that other jazz... Unless you plan to go SPS later one ... In my opinion I like a huge chunk of Polyps a bunch more that all the high dollar single polyp shiz that goes around... I know I know , I should be cast out of the club and never spoken to again right lol =0) ... One mans trash is another mans treasure...and while all of my good friends on this board are spending $100 on a single polyp of the latest "goofy jawed dizzy galespi whirly bird thingie mahoozie zoanthid" I will gladly trade a powerhead for 20 lbs. of anthelia polyp encrusted rock ! . ..lol ... Just my 2 cents....
