Just bought a frag and curious what other ppl have and where

I have a 30" high tank and its midway. I am running a T5 setup with 12 - 39W bulbs. My light fixture is 3-4" off the water.



The toadstool has doubled in this pic over the last year

I also have this 6-8 inches from the top of the water and it is growing like crazy.

Mine is in the Sand. Hasn't fully opened up yet. I'm getting a new light fixture, will this affect my corals?

you are still good........ toadstools can take all kinds of placement. I have a few toadstool frags on the sandbed and they are good

Here's my 2 toadstools. They are a little bigger now.

Tank is 18" high... all my leathers are in the upper 2/3rds
Leathers love flow and light.... I don't care what anyone says... place em up to absorb all that glorious light
.. give them high flow to shed... and you will be amazed at growth

what's up with this. Been like this for a few days now

I is unhappy... toadstools have a mucas coating that needs to be shed... when the flow is too low to remove it they look like that... either get med/med high flow in the area it is or move it up so it can shed

Well I'm not there to see it in person... like I stated all of my leathers are in high light and flow... spa type of flow... mine never close IP and are always expanded
