Nice. I've never seen Dendrogyra by itself, away from the reef, in the sea grass beds like that. Very cool.

This is in Los Corbanitos. There are no facilities and hotels. Only a few fishermen. Here are some more pictures:

nice...wasn't that good coral-wise when I snorkeled there off Punta cana...yeah, should of nailed that lionfish--good shot of it, howeber. Although invasive and spreading, i find it amazing and coincidental yhat you were able to see one in the DR especially while shallow water snorkeling...They brought spear guns out with us on a dive trip last month in Mexico for that purpose...
