The nicest ones I've ever seen were at the Georgia Aquarium. They get absolutely HUGE, and were sort of near each other, relative to the display they were in. Not sure how they would look in your tank, even though it is big, especially compared to the carberryi. JMO...
Thanks Peter. After much googling as well as your opinion, I am becoming skeptical on the feasibility. The other ones that intrigued me are fathead sunburst (Serranocirrhitus latus). Any feelings/experience about/with them?
I've only ever kept one, many tanks ago. It was a great fish. I'm afraid my current tank is too "busy" to try them now. Hopefully others with more experience, especially with multiples, will chime in. When I saw them at the Aquarium Of the Pacific, they actually seemed to stay fairly close together.
I have kept them singularly and in multiples of three to five with no issues.
They are extremely easy to keep/ care for and are quite care tolerant.
They will readily except all foods and are not very boisterous.
Try to find them with one larger and numerous small individuals
Will fit fine with your Cranberry's without issues.
Currently, only have one that is mixed with Dispars, Tukas, & Ventralis
An extremely underrated anthias.
They are extremely easy to keep/ care for and are quite care tolerant.
