I love this tank and have noticed that hcrk hasn't posted any pictures for nearly a year. I would like to see how the tank has changed in the past year. Really don't think that there is anything wrong with that.

Not sure why you would be policing this thread anyways!

Chief:

You are right. There is nothing wrong with that. No policing here. Just telling you that most people that have a tank long term, like this one obviously is, don't ahve much of any changes worth taking about or showing. Also, it took him 8 years to post the pictures for the first time, so it may take a little more for an "UPDATE"

bergzy, you're slacking off on the job! :D

man!

that is what i get for unsubscribing to this thread!!!

please do not report me to the welcome wagon police! the tang police already knocked on my door to give me a warning that i have a 4 inch purple tang in my 180g! :)

Well I dont think we are looking for an update. There are just a lot of unanswered questions that we have about this setup. We just want a "reply." But like anything good you just have to wait.

Hi,
Really beautifull reef system! I would like to include your tank in my reef fishes presentation for my local Marine Aquarium Society in Los Angeles County. May I have your permision to display your tank photos? Please let me know what copyright notice you would like for eto post.
Cheers,
Francesca

If everybody would vote for this tank as TOTM, maybe we would get a closer look then.

I think you send skipper an email to place your vote.

WOWOWOWOW!!! <mouth agape>

No words to describe what I was thinking while reading up on this thread today. At least I have decided to start with an approximately 200 gal tank instead of the originally planned 50-75 gal. No words...

Oh, and I also think that hcrk will still post many a time. He's stated that he has other duties at this time and can't always update.

Perhaps he wants to teach us patience, which is sorely needed with this hobby?

Send a PM to Skipper, and type in that you nominate the specific username's tank. Include the URL to the thread or the images you liked.

Not much to add after 23 pages and several months of WOW's and Bravo's, but please keep us up to date with your tank. I will love to see more pics.:bounce1: :bounce2: :bounce3: :bounce2: :bounce1:

not going to beg for pics

not going to beg for pics

I am very satisfied and still in awe of HRCK's amazing feat of balancing nature and science to create this marvel in his home. I will pose a complex albeit an honest question. Is a tank this large capable of being self sustaining, (what I mean is food and perdation wise, is it self sustaining) and is there a tank size in which water changes are not only not practical but are not useful? I am not trying to hijack this amazng thread, so if I am putting this into the wrong forum, please bump me so I can move it to the wright one. Maybe HRCK can answer to the question if his tank is possibly self sustaining in anyway. The other question can leave to everyone else. Again, I apologize if I put this is the wrong thread.

Very nice tank indeed, I shall dream nice dreams tonight :)

Have any pictures of the house from the outside.

Ok I need to wipe the drool off of the keyboard......
