All of my equipment will soon be hidden in my sump...
I am getting a MJ mod for my 1200 so that will eliminate my pump up on the left side...

I just hate the look of all the equipment taking up space in my aquarium...

NIce tank. Is that glass or acrylic? I have a small 14g glass bowfront that I love and hate...lol.
The 1200 mod might be a tad too strong for the tank. If it is, you can make a sleeve out of pvc to cover the vents on the mod to control the flow.

It's acrylic. I actually don't mind the acrylic...you just have to be careful while cleaning down by the sand b/c the grains may get caught up in the algae pad and scratch up the acrylic. But other than that...I like it.

I was thinking of the MJ Mod w/ the smaller prop, DarthBaiter.
And maybe modify it a little like you said.

Yhea...those modded MJ's are super strong. I have a 600 modded in my 30g cube and I had to cut down on the flow as it pushed all my sand to the back...lol.
